Low emission vehicles priority parks

 

As part of the LEED accreditation programme (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), Auckland Airport has installed 21 priority parks in the international public car park for hybrid vehicles and vehicles with engine sizes 1.6 litre or under.

The parks are identified with a green priority parking signage at the front of the park and also on the ground.

So if you drive a hybrid vehicle or your car has a maximum engine capacity of 1.6 litre, drive on up to the priority parking spaces closest to the international terminal building and be rewarded for helping to green the airport and New Zealand.
